Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception!!!

It has now got a name and will be shown at this weekend's VGA awards. Set in the desert and to follow T.E. Lawrence adventures (Lawrence of Arabia fame) Here is a teaser trailer:

I better go and buy a cheap copy of Uncharted 2 so that I'm ready for this one. lol

OMG sparton!!!!, the only thing you have to do for your new year's resolution is to buy Uncharted 2 before the 3rd game comes out. Uncharted 2 is easily in the top 5 PS3 games of all time, if not claiming the throne.

Both Uncharted games are fantastic. One of my most enjoyable titles, and they're right up there in terms of production value too.

Resistance 3 (FUCK YES) and Sly 4 (just as good) will be shown at the VGA Awards too. Just my guess.

I'm going to go against the grain, I don't really enjoy Uncharted. I played through the first one over a weekend when I rented it, I thought it was OK but the mad twist in the story at the end was a let down for me.

Hired the second one and only played the first level or two before I got bored. Not really all that interested in the next one.

Each to their own I guess.

That said, I can appreciate that Naughty Dog have done some pretty impressive things with the series. The characters are as believable as they come, and the graphics are brilliant.

Didn't play the first but really enjoyed the second Drake.

Game stores in Darwin don't know anything about the starhawk beta. Its not in any of the promo gear but they all reckon when betas come as an extra they normally don't know until the games get there. i just hope it will be in the aussie version as me no general

This game is great, and the visuals are fucking amazing. Good on Naughty Dog for putting in some effort. Some parts look almost life-like in 3D.

This is how games should look. Naughty Dog show that it's possible, yet 90% of games these days look like utter shit. Developers with much larger budgets (IW) should be ashamed of their games.

and it's not just the visuals. The voice acting, characters, animation, lighting, sound, environments and story are all top of the line.

Yeah just started it myself and agree with you mate. Naughty dog have done a fantastic job. Will post more later, but one criticism people are saying is that the gun targeting system is clunky.

this game is insane. The set pieces and cinematography are incredible. I just crashed in the desert and I am truly impressed with this game. 10/10.

The cruise ship level nearly made me jizz. Lapping waves crashing over the gunwales, throwing barrels, boxes and enemies around just has to be seen. Everyone with a ps3 has to play, and finish, this game.

Finished the game. Yes the visuals are amazing and are somehow better than uncharted 2!

The aiming did annoy me throughout the game and enemies that took entire clips of high powered weapons to kill really pissed me. So it wasnt a walkthrough of a game which is good. Its such a great balance of action, platforming, funny scenes and seriousness. I love this series and in my opinion the best trilogy on the PS3.

I look forward to see where naughty dog from here.
