10 years ago...

Was reading an article on IGN saying that its the 10th anniversary since the gamecube came out and I thought about this (didnt come out in Australia till 2002, but you get my drift). What was everyone doing 10 years ago? For me:

In general - I had just finished yr 11 and started yr 12. I didnt know for sure what I was going to do, but I liked the thought of Radiography so I kept that in mind. I didnt have a part time job then so life pretty much consisted of school, soccer on the weekends and then going out to parties or over to friends house to get drunk. My group and I loved to get drunk all the time and thats all we cared about doing. I didnt have any girlfriends then and didnt have much luck with girls at the parties we went to. I didnt mind too much, hanging out with my friends was the main thing.

In gaming - My brother and I just went halves in a gamecube (he was pushing for PS2, but I convinced him of gamecube. lol ) and with the cube we got Starfox Adventure. It was by Rare studios and was their last game as a 2nd party developer for Nintendo. It was an ok game. Not long after that I remember getting Rogue Squadron 2 (amazing graphics at the time).

10 years ago i was 8 and in primary school. Rocking the nintendo 64 and Gameboy advance playing Pokemon.

Rocking High school, and around 30 kgs lighter... Ahhhh the days I could run like Forest.... Still keeping up with it though
