Travel
This is my current obsession. We are planning a family 4-5 week trip to Uk and parts of Europe in a year or so. I am super excited about it already - never been there before. It's been a long time in the planning and is still such a long way off but I am always checking out travel sites, blogs etc.
Love to hear about other people's travel adventures - whether you've been or are planning a trip. Don't just mean europe. Love all travel!! Some of our best travel has been through NW australia.

Re: Travel
I wish I could contribute! Wottagunn is overseas currently, would be able to brag about his trips.
Jen is a travel-aholic, so I have to somehow find a way to save enough money that I can travel with her.
We plan to go to asia in march (japan, vietnam, malaysia and thailand).
Europe would be great Bec. You originate from anywhere in Europe? Family there?

I'm going to Melbourne this coming Friday with my mate for the footy and then Adelaide in July.
Otherwise I haven't left perth in about a year.

Re: Travel
Overseas wedding would be such fun Tristo! I've not been to Thailand either so would love to hear about it.
Melbourne for the footy would be awesome Sparto. We really want to do that too. Love to see a big game at MCG and at etihad.
Last few years we've been putting some of each pay into a "holiday/travel" account. Whether its for a weekend in a caravan park or whatever, I just always want to know that a holiday is planned.
Sounds like you're kicking off your travel experiences in a big way Tom. Great itiniery! I haven't been any of those places.

Re: Travel
Yeah Bec, it'll be a good trip. We want to the do the US really badly, but it's a lot more expensive internally than the asian countries are (bar Japan). So asian countries first.
You'll love the game at the G sparto, it's a great ground to watch sport in. Where are you staying, do you know?

Re: Travel
Good to hear guys. When Stef and I lived in England for 2 years we did plenty of travelling around Europe. My favourite places where Germany, Egypt and the UK. Since we have been back we havent done any travelling apart from Fiji for our honeymoon which was great! In the long term we plan to do a USA/Canada and back to UK/Europe trip, but that wont be for ages (travelling is bloody expensive!). In the meantime we want to do more Australia/NZ travelling. Later this year we are going to a wedding at Cradle mountain which I'm looking forward to!

Re: Travel
Talking about expensive - Switzerland is ridiculous! Literally $15 for a big mac. Avoid if you're on a budget.
