TYPHOON (kickstarter campaign)

TYPHOON are a 13 piece band from Portland OR and are very good. Their 2010 album 'Hunger and Thirst' is one of the standout albums for me in recent years.

Anyway, they have a new album coming out in August and a tour to follow. They are doing something a bit different this year and have started a "kickstarter Campaign" to allow pre-orders and hopefully raise enough cash to buy a new tour van.

You can pledge anywhere from $1 up to $10,000, and each amount gives you certain rewards. For $50 you get special edition gate-fold LP's, personal tour cameras, lyric sheets etc, for $500 you can go on hunting/fishing trips with the band, for $1000 they will record a cover of any song for you, and for the maximum amount they will perform in your house!

It's a great way to support a great band. Please check them out because they need to be heard by more people!
