PS2 to PS3 remakes

With the success of the God of War collection and the probable release of a ICO/SOTC remake, what PS2 games would you want or what PS2 games do you think should get the remake treatment?

Out of the entire PS2 catalogue I would really want remake's of MGS2 & 3.

The only problem with my choice is that it was developed by Konami, which isnt owned by Sony, unlike the above 2 developers, so it will be interesting to see if third party games do get the remake treatment.

Honestly i dont think they should do any remakes. id prefer them to make new classics . Games are a little like art and shouldnt be retouched IMO

The GOW collection visuals are outstanding!

Im only an hour into God of War 1 and I am very impressed! In a game, usually the cinematic's are the best part, but the HD visuals easily surpass GOW's (they didn't upgrade the cinematic's).

I am so glad I got this collection and I look forward to more collections!

Yeah I am looking forward to them as well. Have you still got plans to get a 3D tv? As they will have 3D capabilites as well as HD remake.

Yet another reason why PS3 is better than 360. I never would have played God of War 1 & 2 (and possibly 3 for that matter) if it weren't for the remakes. The same can be said for the upcoming ICO collection. Its a win win situation for both gamer and developer. I think Microsoft have made a mistake on this matter.

Remakes are a great idea. I really enjoy them because they remind me of the great times I had with those games.

Shadow of the Colossus is one of the best games made to this day. I'm very much looking forward to it. ICO is awesome too.

With the upcoming team ICO collection, would you recommend playing ICO before SOTC? I know that SOTC is a spiritual sequel only.

More rumors of a MGS and FF remakes for PS3. Hope so, really want to play MGS2 & 3.

Hey wotta, your getting the POP collection aren't you? Is that because you haven't played them back in the day or for trophies?

Everyone else, who is getting Sly collection or Splinter cell collection?

I don't know if I will get the sly collection, saw some gameplay and not sure if its my sort of game. With regards to splinter cell I have already played and finished Pandora Tomorrow so I can't decide if I should get it? Do you guys rate the Splinter Cell trilogy?
