ok... so this was the biggest bullshit week for me ever!

I hav suddenly started attracting cougars! I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing....

Last weekend I had a bender of a night out and met this 40 year old smoking hot cougar. Somehow she asked for my number and on wed night we ended up going to the pub then she came back to my place. The good thing was that she was from outer area and had to fly home on the Thursday!

Then..... after work on friday i ended up going for a drink with the project manager for a company we r dealing with. Before we knew it we were having dinner and a beer. We were working out of Sydney and had to b fairly safe because of long weekend and double demerits. About 9pm we both got in our seperate cars and drove off saying our goodbyes. About an hour later i got a phone call from her saying she just bought 2 bottles of wine and she wanted me to go over to her house and help her out with them....

What a week! I must admit.... older chicks definately r better

it's a good thing

these are a few tips that i've picked up from different people and my own experiences over past year or so. hope it helps

1. Get a nice haircut from a nice flashy place every 3 months or so. you can go to salon express or whatever to trim it whenever you need in the months following, the shape and style is all there so you dont have to worry about losing the quality of an expensive cut. a good head of hair that's nicely cut makes a world of a difference. your hair shapes your face and shows girls what kind of guy you are. make a good first impression, lads.

2. When going out, wear nice things. This does NOT necessarily mean expensive, it means well fitted and good taste. Try to avoid shirts with 'fully sick' designs and obvious logos. you might think that your Ed Hardy shirt with skulls, dragons and huge brand logos look absolutely 'dope', but to the rest of the world you're a walking billboard for a try hard label. stock up on plain t-shirts with different necks and flat colours. Myers is good for this with their 2 for 40 dollar plain t-shirt sales. Try on everything you buy before you buy it in a few different sizes, fitment makes all the difference.

3. All the pants you buy aren't made perfectly for you. Get the hems cut for all your nice jeans and suit pants, you could fold them up underneath aswell if you dont want to get the hems cut (you can only do this with jeans). There's nothing worst than having a heap load of extra material scrunch up at your nice new pair of dress shoes. as for shoes, avoid going out to a club or party in jogging shoes or skate shoes and you should be ok.

4. V neck kashmir sweaters are always nice and in good taste. When it comes to the king of jackets, Peacoats reign supreme, so if you're looking to purchase the ultimate jacket, get yourself a nice looking hip length peacoat jacket. That shit will never fail you, as long as you know how to look after it.

5. get 2 good colognes (a day time and a night time fragrance), cologne lasts longer and smells far more masculine than deoderant. something in the $20 range is more than enough if you're on a budget. but you get what you pay for with cologne. the more expensive ones are layered and reveal a different scent after a certain amount of time so the person you're with don't adapt to the smell, meaning you'll smell good all day to them. Applying a spray to your neck and wrists is more than enough to last you the whole day. spraying more than this can discomfort the person you're with, it's never good going out on a date with a girl and giving her hayfever coz you've poured half the bottle all over your clothes.

6. look after your skin brahs. bright and vibrant skin shows you have good health so wash your mouth after every meal and wash your face twice a day followed by a bit of moisturiser. if you suffer from acne, drink plenty of water (~3 litres/day, i shit you not), take zinc supplements and change your pillow case every week.

7. if you do go to the gym, focus on compound movements. compound movements, such as the powerlifts use more muscles to burn more calories and make you bigger faster, plus you'll be gaining functional strength aswell, not just size. You could literally go to the gym every 3rd day and only do bench press, squats and deadlifts and work every single muscle in your body from these 3 excercises alone. don't worry about treadmills and cardio if you're not fat, just eat plenty of carbs and proteins, and lift heavy whenever you get the chance. after 4-6 months of those excercises at the gym, you'll now find you fit into clothes a lot nicer and look far more fit.

with most of the appearance part taken care of, you'll now be feeling quite confident so just go out there and talk to some girls. dont feel obliged to overthink it and talk about what you think she's interested in. just be yourself. it helps to tell an intriguing story or get her to ramble on about something she did, that way you can just sit back, listen and look like a caring person LOL. i once talked about Philosophy and Rene Descartes's theories on a date and the girl was totally willing to listen, it made me look and sound like a really smart guy to her and lead to us talking about more deeper stuff about ourselves. Win!
