Beer

I just bought a 6 pack of Golden Ale myself.
Where abouts are you buying this lot from, ie are they local beers or are you going to a large importer such as Dan Murphy's?

There's this place in Yarragon called 'Yarragon Ale House' - 101 Beers. About an hour and a bit from Melbourne.

While those individual Ale's are great, they set ya back a bit. Ya looking at around $9 per bottle.

It may seem steep, but at restaurants you can pay that for a fucking VB.

He is really happy with it. I think you can pretty much brew the equivalent of any beer on the market.

I get tired easily and always get terrible headaches. I feel that alcohol contributes to this.

Took half a day today, because we're brewing our beer this afternoon. Looking forward to it.

Drank over 30 ales this weekend. Woke up fine both mornings too. Went water skiing with the boys up the Murray. There has been a locust plague going on for a few months, and fuck me they were everywhere! Millions upon millions of locusts everywhere you look.
We brewed the beer Friday following the recipe as close as possible. It is fermenting at the moment the way it should be, so hopefully we get a nice ale out of it.

Duvel beer. awesome, awesome Belgium beer. Man I am going to miss this shit. They better stock it somewhere in Newcastle.

I had a night on Duvel and absinthe shots in Paris. All I remember was breaking some guys scooter outside of the pub.

8.5 mate, and yes I was quite tipsy.

Then I tried some other Belgium beer called Deus, fuckin shit! Its like carbonated beer, yuck! I got it from work for a farewell, nice gesture, but man if your going to give me Belgium beer, get me Duvel or Leffe!

I know where you can get it mate..... the Belgian Beer Cafe! Looks like you will need to come have a big night with me and Cap in Feb!

Just tasted our beer for the first time, and it was lovely. Exactly what we aimed for.
A smooth, well balanced Ale with a slightly fruity aroma and a touch of bitterness. Very happy with our first brewed beer.

Looks and sounds delicious!!!

Good stuff.
Most people who brew say that it takes a while to get it right. You gonna stick to this recipe or change it up a little?

We are going to brew something completely different soon. A malt hops ale.
